Distilled Consulting Becomes Member of RISSB
Distilled Consulting is thrilled to be admitted as a new member to the Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB).
Managing Director, Todd Shardlow, remarked "Distilled Consulting is proud to have been accepted as a member of RISSB. We are an enthusiastic supporter of the work RISSB do, and Distilled Consulting looks forward to actively participating in future RISSB activities to help drive continuous improvement in the Australian rail industry."
RISSB plays a vital role in driving national harmonisation and interoperability, moving the rail industry towards technical and operational consistency, improving safety, lowering costs and enhancing productivity.
Distilled Consulting is currently delivering Human Factors services across a number of key rail projects across NSW and Queensland, so it was a natural fit for the company to take the next step and actively support RISSB as a member. "Rail has formed a significant part of my own personal career development over the years, so having delivered rail projects all across Australia I feel that it's important to be able contribute something back and support the industry", said Todd.
Distilled Consulting is looking forward to using our Human Factors experience and influence the direction of rail safety and help shape future RISSB products and services.
