Distilled Consulting Awarded Major ISA Contract on Sydney Metro West & Western Sydney Airport Projects
Distilled Consulting has been awarded a major Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) contract on the Sydney Metro West & Western Sydney Airport projects.
Distilled Consulting is proud to be leading the Human Factors ISA services as part of the Abbott Risk Consulting team of ISA experts for these landmark Sydney Metro projects. The new Sydney Metro West and Western Sydney Airport lines will continue the expansion of the Sydney Metro network, the largest program of public transport infrastructure currently under construction in Australia and the largest urban rail infrastructure investment in the nation’s history.

Distilled Consulting’s Managing Director, Todd Shardlow, welcomed the opportunity to partner with Abbott Risk Consulting. “I have worked closely with many of the Abbott Risk Consulting team on various projects over the years and I am delighted that Distilled Consulting is now partnering with them to deliver ISA services for these significant Sydney Metro projects.”
In a niche industry, Distilled Consulting brings forward-thinking human factors integration and assurance expertise, delivered with a pragmatic approach. “Our organisations share a commitment to technical excellence and integrity, and collaboratively working with projects to address the safety and Human Factors challenges”, Todd said. “We are objective advisors that work with engineers, designers, operations managers, and end users to discern how the design of complex systems can be distilled to be safer, more intuitive, user friendly, and efficient.
